The work towards getting State of Mind and LTT on tour in 2009 began already in 2008 as Swedish Institute granted the artists, Annica Karlsson Rixon & Anna Viola Hallberg support for a contact trip to Ukraine to meet with art institutions, activists and academics.
Directly after the opening in Kharkiv artists went to Kiev to work on securing the exhibition in Kiev. After sucessful meetings with Gogol Festival and the organization InSight we are looking into opening at Gogol on September 11th 2009. There are a number of things that needs to be solved prior to this.
The issues passed on in the Lezzie Think Tank from Sphere, Kharkiv will be responded to by Insight in a public format at the Gogol festival. The new set of things to reflect over will be passed on to Minsk, Belarus. The LTT in Kiev was held on September 13th next to the installation. The response to the questions from Kharkiv/Sphere were posted on a blue notice board for the general public to take part of.
